Man Killed in NW Harris County Pedestrian Crash on Barker Cypress Road

Harris County, Texas (August 7, 2018) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Monday morning in northwest Harris County, according to the deputies.
The crash occurred at around 2 a.m. Monday, August 6 on Barker Cypress Road near Canyon Cypress Lane.
Deputies said a man was walking down the road when he was hit by a red Dodge pickup truck.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
Impairment was unlikely a factor in the crash, deputies said.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
