Man Killed in North Austin Pedestrian Accident on East St. John’s Avenue near Carver Avenue

Austin, Texas (September 21, 2018) – A man was fatally struck by a Capital Metro bus late Thursday night North Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 20 in the 1000 block of East St. John’s Avenue near Carver Avenue.
EMS said the victim was a man in his 30s and was pronounced deceased at the site of the crash.
The crash caused a closure of the crash scene as the investigators examined the accident.
