Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Car on I-35 near 6th Street in Austin
Austin, Texas (July 27, 2018) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday morning in Austin, according to the police.
The deadly crash took place in the 900 block of southbound Interstate 35 near 6th Street at around 5:30 a.m.
The Austin-Travis County EMS crews responded to the crash and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The victim was only identified as a man in his 20s.
The crash caused the southbound lanes and one northbound lane of I-35 to be closed at 6th Street.
The Austin Police Department is investigating the crash.
