Man Dies in East Austin Pedestrian Crash on Springdale Road

East Austin, Texas (December 2, 2018) – A man was killed in an auto pedestrian accident involving a hit-and-run driver early Saturday morning in East Austin.
According to the Austin-Travis County EMS, the crash occurred in the 900 block of Springdale Road on Saturday, December 1.
Police said the victim died of traumatic injuries resulting from the crash.
The driver of the vehicle involved failed to remain at the scene.
Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver.
