Anthony, TX – The man who was killed Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle collision in Anthony has been identified as Oscar Garcia of El Paso, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
The fatal collision happened around 9:30 a.m. on April 11 at the intersection of Antonio Street (FM 1905) and Wildcat Drive.
Authorities said a black Tesla was traveling eastbound on FM 1905 while a Ford passenger vehicle was traveling westbound and was attempting to turn left onto Wildcat Drive.
The Ford failed to yield the right of way and crashed into the Tesla.
Both vehicles then crashed into two other vehicles.
Garcia was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Speed was a factor in the accident.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
