Man Hospitalized after Houston North Freeway Crash Involving Street Sweeper

Houston, Texas (November 29, 2017) – A man was taken to a hospital early Wednesday morning following a truck crash with a street sweeper vehicle on North Freeway in Northern Harris County, according to Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened at about 2:20 a.m. on North Freeway at Richey Road.
Deputies said heavy fog and dust blocked the view of a woman driving a Jeep Wrangler on North Freeway and caused it to crash into a street sweeper at Richey Road.
The man driving the street sweeper sustained neck and back injuries and was taken to northwest hospital.
Investigators said that speed may also be a slight factor in the crash.
