Officer among 2 Injured in 2-Car Crash in Houston

Houston, Texas (May 27, 2018) – A Houston police officer was among two injured in a car accident in North Houston Sunday morning, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred on Old Humble Road at the North Sam Houston Parkway.
As per the report, the driver, who was intoxicated, was operating his car southbound on Old Humble Road when he failed to stop at a light and crashed into the police cruiser.
The force of the impact caused the police car to rotate and sent the car a half block from the intersection.
Both the officer and the driver suffered minor injuries. They were expected to be okay.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
