Motorcyclist Severely Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Accident at Lawndale Avenue and North Navarro Street in Victoria

Rider Injured in Victoria Motorcycle Crash at Lawndale Avenue and North Navarro Street

Victoria, Texas (December 21, 2018) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon in Victoria, according to the Victoria Police Department.
The incident was reported at about 3:57 p.m. December 19 at Lawndale Avenue and North Navarro Street.
Police said a blue Dodge Durango was traveling southbound on North Navarro Street when the driver attempted to turn east onto Lawndale Avenue and struck the northbound motorcycle rider. The Durango then collided with a silver Ford F-150 that was traveling westbound on Lawndale Avenue.
The rider sustained major injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The victim was later flown to an out-of-town hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Victoria Police Department.
