Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Mockingbird in San Angelo

San Angelo, Texas (June 2, 2018) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after his Harley was struck by a vehicle Saturday morning in San Angelo, according to a news release from San Angelo Police Officers.
The accident took place in the 200 block of Mockingbird in the quiet neighborhood between Sherwood Way and Arden Road.
According to the police, an elderly San Angelo female driver was backing out of her driveway in a Nissan when she allegedly failed to see the rider on his red Harley Davidson motorbike thus causing the two vehicles to collide.
The rider reportedly sustained an injury to his shin and possible skull fracture and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
According to the police, the witnesses said the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
An investigation into the serious accident is ongoing.

We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
