Man Seriously hurt in Amarillo Motorcycle Crash at Republic Avenue and Western Street

Amarillo, Texas (December 13, 2018) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries after being involved in a collision with a vehicle late Tuesday night in Amarillo, according to the police.
The incident was reported at around 11:58 p.m. December 11 at Republic Avenue and Western Street.
According to police, a 29-year-old man was riding a motorcycle northbound on Western Street when he collided with a truck that was making a southbound turn on the street.
The rider sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported from the crash.
The Amarillo Police Department is investigating the accident.
