Amarillo, Texas (June 17, 2018) – A 62-year-old woman was killed in a fatal three-vehicle crash on Saturday morning in north Amarillo.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, the wreck took place shortly before noon June 16 at NE 24th and North Grand.
Police said a 17-year-old boy was driving a 2012 Chevrolet west on NE 24th when he attempted to turn left onto southbound N. Grand and collided with an eastbound 2005 Toyota Camry driven by another 17-year-old boy.
One of the vehicles then crashed into a car driven by a 54-year-old man who was stopped for a red light at the intersection.
Police said Mo Lai Chun, 62, was riding as a passenger in the Toyota and was rushed to a hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The Amarillo Police Department is working to determine the cause of the wreck.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes. No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies. While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
