Mike Andrade Hit and Killed by Vehicle near Southwest and Catclaw Drive in Abilene
Abilene, Texas (September 13, 2018) – A 54-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon in Abilene, police said.
The accident was reported at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12 near the intersection of Southwest and Catclaw Drive.
Police said a silver 2014 Nissan Pathfinder traveling towards Winters Freeway struck Mike Andrade, 54, who was in the right lane.
Andrade suffered major injuries and was rushed to Abilene Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
No details were provided on the driver of the vehicle involved.
The Abilene Police are investigating the crash.
