Michael Longoria Hurt in Fatal New Caney Car Crash on FM 1485

New Caney, Texas (April 1, 2019) – Michael Longoria, 22, has been identified as the passenger injured in a deadly two-vehicle collision that left both drivers dead in New Caney early Sunday morning, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened shortly after 3 a.m. on FM 1485 by Lake Houston Wilderness Park.
Police said a white pickup truck swerved into the opposing traffic and collided head-on with an oncoming Camaro.
The Camaro caught fire and was pushed into a ditch by the impact.
A woman in the Camaro died at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the truck, Collen Skelly, 22, was also killed in the collision.
Longoria was a passenger in the Camaro. He was hospitalized for his injuries.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
