Man Seriously Hurt in Travis County Pedestrian Accident at U.S. 183 and Lava Hill Road

Travis County, Texas (June 7, 2018) – A man in his 30s was hit and injured by a vehicle in southeast Travis County Wednesday night, according to a local news source.
The accident was reported at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 near U.S. 183 and Lava Hill Road.
According to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, the pedestrian was struck by a pick-up truck while he was walking near U.S. 183.
The driver involved reportedly fled the scene.
The man was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
The suspect vehicle was believed to be a black Ford extended cab pick-up and was last seen traveling northbound on U.S. 183.
The crash remains under investigation.
