Houston, Texas (January 16, 2018) – A man was fatally hit by a tractor-trailer while running to a bus stop in Southeast Houston on Thursday afternoon, according to HPD.
The accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday, January 11, in the 1400 block of Lockwood Drive, near the Gulf Freeway.

The pedestrian, only identified as a 46-year-old man, was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the tractor-trailer remained at the scene of the crash.
Police questioned the driver who, they said, did not show signs of intoxication.
The crash is under investigation.
