Man Killed in Scooter Crash on South Zarzamora Street in San Antonio
San Antonio, Texas – A man was killed Friday night in a scooter crash in San Antonio, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The deadly accident happened around 9:00 p.m., May 17, in the 7300 block of South Zarzamora Street.
Police said the man was operating an electric scooter without headlights heading northbound when he drove diagonally through traffic across three southbound lanes and was struck by a red Toyota Camry.
The Camry driver stayed at the scene and rendered aid.
The man was taken to the hospital where he later died. His name has not been released.
The police are investigating the crash.
