Man Hurt in Burleson Pedestrian Collision on I-35W near Bethesda Road

Burleson, Texas (May 13, 2019) – A vehicle struck and injured a male pedestrian in Burleson Sunday evening.
According to a report by the Burleson police, the incident took place around 6:15 p.m. Sunday, May 12, on Interstate 35W near Bethesda Road.
Investigators said a motorist had pulled over to assist a driver who had experienced an engine problem. The driver who pulled over to assist was putting cones on the roadway to warn other drivers when he was struck by a passing vehicle.
The man was transported by helicopter to a hospital. No details were provided on the victim’s condition.
The investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision.
