Man Killed in Tom Green County Crash on U.S. 67

Tom Green County, Texas (November 14, 2018) – A man was killed when a vehicle crashed into a big rig on Tuesday morning near Tankersley, according to the DPS.
The crash was reported at around 5 a.m. Tuesday, November 13 on U.S. 67 at the Maalt Transport Yard located in the 12826 block of the highway.
DPS said an 18-wheeler belonging to the Maalt Trucking was eastbound on US 67 when it stopped to make a left turn into the Maalt Transport yard. An eastbound blue SUV failed to stop and crashed into the rear of the big rig.
One person was killed in the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
