Linda Chavez Injured in Crash on I-20 in Odessa
Odessa, Texas (July 26, 2018) – The woman who was critically injured Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Odessa has been identified as Linda Chavez, according to the Odessa Police Department.
The collision happened at about 11:08 a.m. July 25, on Interstate 20 near Crane Avenue.
Police said Chavez was driving eastbound on the interstate when she was unable to control her speed and crashed into an 18-wheeler.
Chavez was taken to Medical Center Hospital in critical condition.
The OPD is investigating the crash.
