Lewis Davies Killed in DUI Crash on I-35 in Georgetown

Lewis Davies ID’d as Man Killed in Georgetown Car Accident on Interstate 35 and Leander Road
Georgetown, Texas (October 16, 2018) – Authorities have identified the man who was killed early last month in an alleged DUI crash in Georgetown as Lewis Davies, 20.
The deadly accident took place at about 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, September 2 near the intersection of I-35 and Leander Road.
According to reports, Anthony Brown Jr., 25, was driving on the I-35 frontage road when his vehicle rear-ended an 18-wheeler that was parked on the side of the road.
Davies, who was Brown’s passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police investigators allege that Brown had a BAC of .13 after the crash. He has now been charged with intoxication manslaughter in connection with the deadly accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
