Joseph Ledoux Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at Highway 94 and Westwood Drive in Angelina County
Angelina County, Texas (August 17, 2018) – A Diboll man was airlifted to a hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon in Angelina County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash occurred at Highway 94 and Westwood Drive at around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, August 16.
DPS said Joseph Ledoux, 24, of Diboll, was driving a Toyota pickup when he attempted to overtake a Ford Fusion, driven by Mandy Hardy, 37, of Pineland, and who was trying to make a left turn on Westbound Highway 94.
Ledoux’s vehicle clipped the side of the Ford and the impact pushed his Toyota off the side of the roadway. The Toyota came to a stop after crashing through a wooden fence.
DPS said Ledoux was airlifted to a hospital in Tyler for treatment.
No other injuries were reported from the crash.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
