Jonathan Dominguez Killed in Dallas DART Bus Accident

Jonathan Dominguez, 32, Killed in Pedestrian Crash at Hunnicut Road and Samuel Boulevard in Dallas

Dallas, Texas (December 28, 2017) — A 32-year-old male pedestrian was killed while walking in an area on Tuesday in Dallas, Dallas Police said.
The fatal accident happened at about 1: a.m. Tuesday, December 26, near the intersection of Hunnicut Road and Samuel Boulevard.
According to a preliminary investigation report, Jonathan Dominguez, 32, was walking near the intersection of Hunnicut and Samuell Boulevard.  A DART bus was making a turn when the driver, for undetermined reasons, failed to locate Dominguez and ran him over.
The driver of the immediately stopped the bus after feeling the bus had struck something and called for emergency services.
Authorities said Dominguez died of her injuries at approximately 1:00 a.m.
No other injuries were reported in the collision.
Authorities launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
