Godley, Texas (February 20, 2018) – A 40-year-old man was knocked down and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night near Godley, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened in the 13000 block of North Texas 171 at around 10 p.m. Saturday, February 17.
Deputies said the pedestrian, identified as Jimmy Paderson, 40, of Godley, died from injuries he sustained after being hit by a pickup truck.
There were no details on the driver of the vehicle involved.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
