Jermaine Robbins Killed in Boat Crash on Lake Conroe near Lewis Creek
Lake Conroe, Texas (May 17, 2018) – A community coach was killed in a boat accident Saturday on Lake Conroe, according to the authorities.
The fatal crash took place on Saturday, May 12, near the mouth of Lewis Creek.
Investigators said Jermaine Robbins was out fishing with two other friends when a larger boat passed by them and the waves caused their boat to capsize.
The three had their life jackets on at the time and tried to swim towards the shore.
Robbins became unconscious and was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
Robbins was better known as Coach Chop and coached community football, basketball, and track.
The crash remains under investigation.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes. No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies. While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
