3-Year-Old Jaynale Molina Dies in El Paso Car Crash on Paisano Drive and Valle Verde Street
El Paso, Texas (July 17, 2018) – A 3-year-old child was killed in a crash between two vehicles on Sunday afternoon in South-Central El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department.
The deadly crash took place shortly after 5 p.m. July 15 in the 4000 block of Paisano Drive at Valle Verde Street.
Police said Adrian Pacheco, 37, of Juarez, was driving a 2009 Nissan Frontier westbound on Paisano Drive when he failed to yield and made a U-turn. His Nissan hit an eastbound 1994 Honda Civic driven by Geraredo Molina, 27.
Molina and his two passengers, Jaynale Molina, 3, and Samantha Molina, 7, were all taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries. Police said Jaynale was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the accident. He was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
A third passenger in the Honda, Buendia Celina, 23, was transported to Del Sol Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Pacheco and his passengers were not hurt in the accident.
The crash remained under investigation.
