Jacoby Bailey Dies in North Austin Crash on Interstate 35

Austin, Texas (July 26, 2018) – A man died days after being involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer on Sunday afternoon in north Austin, according to the police.
The incident happened at around 4 p.m. July 15 in the 3500 block of I-35.
Police said Jacoby Ray Bailey, 28, was driving a 2003 white Infiniti southbound on I-35 when he failed to control his speed and collided with a southbound 2015 International tractor-trailer.
Bailey was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on July 23.
No other injuries were reported from the incident.
The Austin Police Department is looking into the accident.
