16-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized after Belton Pedestrian Crash on Industrial Park Road

Belton, Texas (January 24, 2018) – A 16-year-old girl sustained critical injuries when she was struck by a vehicle whose driver failed to stop after the incident on Sunday evening in Belton.
According to the Belton Police Department, the crash occurred at about 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, on Industrial Park Road.
Police said the pedestrian was jogging along the road when she was struck by a vehicle.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital with critical injuries.
21-year-old Juan DeLeon was later arrested and identified as the suspected hit-and-run driver.
Police said DeLeon is facing charges in connection with the crash.
