Emma Woodlee Killed in Rollover Accident on I-37 in San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas (February 17, 2018) – A 23-year-old woman was killed in a rollover accident involving two vehicles early Saturday morning in San Antonio, police said.
The crash happened at around 2:30 a.m. near Interstate 37 and Loop 410.
Police said a vehicle traveling southbound on I-37 lost control and struck a wall. The force of the crash caused the car to flip multiple times before coming to a rest in the main lanes.
A trailer driver pulled over to assist the victims of the crash, but before reaching the car, a pickup truck failed to stop and slammed into the car.
Two women were riding in the car that was struck and one of them, identified as Emma Woodlee, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Both occupants of the pickup truck claimed to be passengers at the time of the accident. Police performed a field sobriety test on them and are conducting an investigation.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
