Driver Seriously Injured in Jessamine Street Crash with 18-Weeler in Southwest Houston
Houston, Texas (April 19, 2017) – A driver was seriously injured early Wednesday morning after colliding with a big rig in southwest Houston, according to a police report.
The injury incident took place on Jessamine Street at Renwick Drive shortly after 12 a.m. today, as per the report.
An initial investigation revealed that an 18-wheeler was making a slow wide turn at the intersection of Jessamine Street and Renwick Drive when a large pickup truck crashed into the side of the trailer.
The driver of the pickup truck was seriously hurt in the incident. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
The name of the injured driver was not immediately released.
Houston police are investigating the incident to determine the cause.
