The crash happened on June 25, at SH 105 and FM 2518.

Officials said Joseph Williams was driving a police cruiser eastbound on SH 105 when he suffered a medical emergency, causing him to lose control. He then rear-ended a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Williams was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston in an unknown condition.

The two people in the Dodge were not seriously injured in the crash.

A witness or a person inside the Dodge alerted law enforcement about the accident using Williams’ radio inside his patrol car.

The Texas DPS is investigating the crash.

We wish Joseph Williams a quick recovery.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
