Delia Rodriguez Struck and Killed by Vehicle at Kohl’s on Potranco Road in San Antonio

Delia Rodriguez ID’d as Elderly Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash on Potranco Road

San Antonio, Texas (December 29, 2018) – The elderly woman who died after being struck and pinned in an auto-pedestrian accident in San Antonio last Friday afternoon has been identified as Delia Rodriguez, 80, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
San Antonio police said the crash occurred just after 12 p.m. December 21 at Kohl’s parking lot in the 10800 block of Potranco Road.
Police said Rodriguez was trying to cross the lane in front of a shopping area when a Ford Focus made a turn into the lane, striking her and another pedestrian.
Rodriguez was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition and later died at the hospital. No details were provided on the condition of the other pedestrian.
Police are investigating the crash.
