Cedar Park, Texas (January 11, 2018) – Two children were killed and their mother critically injured in a crash in Cedar Park, Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The crash took place at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, January 10.
According to police, the two children were riding in a 2016 Nissan Rogue with their 31-year-old mother, Zara Salman when their vehicle collided with a 2008 Dodge Ram. The occupants of the Ram survived after sustaining minor injuries.
Police said Salman remained in critical condition.
One of the children, the older boy, attended Winkley Elementary School in Leander.
No further information about the crash was immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
