Crystal Nagle Killed in Gatesville Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 84
Gatesville, Texas – A woman was killed Monday night in a two-vehicle crash near Gatesville, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal crash happened around 9:25 p.m., June 3, in the 12000 block of U.S. Highway 84.
DPS said a 38-year-old man from Carlsbad, New Mexico, was driving a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek SUV westbound on the highway when he crossed the eastbound lane and hit a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander SUV driven by a 69-year-old woman from Gatesville.
The Subaru driver admitted having fallen asleep while driving.
The passenger of the Outlander, 50-year-old Crystal Anne Nagle, of Clifton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
