Bowie County, TX – A woman was killed Friday evening in a multi-vehicle collision in Bowie County, according to the Texas DPS.
The deadly collision happened around 8:00 p.m. on March 6 on Highway 82 west of De Kalb.
DPS said a white 2000 Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound on the highway when it veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into multiple vehicles.
The Toyota driver, Connie Stevens, 70, of Avery, Texas, died at the scene.
Two other drivers and a juvenile passenger in one of the vehicles were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
