Man Dies in Midland Collision on Cuthbert Avenue

Midland, Texas (February 5, 2018) – A collision involving a dump truck  Monday morning in Midland claimed the life of a 28-year-old man, according to authorities.
The deadly collision took place at around 9:15 a.m. Monday, February 5, on Cuthbert Avenue between Fairgrounds Road and Tilden Street in Midland.
According to authorities, a passenger vehicle, driven by 28-year-old Christopher Olguin, collided with a City of Midland dump truck operated by Johnnie Martinez.
Olguin died as a result of the crash while Martinez was unhurt, authorities said.
Further details regarding the incident were not immediately provided.
