Child Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 351 in Abilene
Abilene, Texas (October 2, 2018) – A child was injured Monday afternoon in a traffic collision in north Abilene, according to a local news source.
The accident took place at about 3:30 p.m. Monday, October 1 outside Walmart on Highway 351.
Police said a mother was transporting three children and was turning out of the Walmart parking lot when her van collided with a jeep.
The force of the impact caused the van to flip onto its roof.
One child sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
No one else was injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
