54-Year-Old Cathryn Morrisey Killed in Houston Pedestrian Crash on 19th Street

Houston, Texas (August 6, 2019) – A woman from Heights was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident that occurred late last month in Houston, according to a local news source.

The incident happened during the afternoon hours of July 30 in the 400 block of West 19th Street.

Police said Cathryn Morrisey, 54, of Heights, was walking along the roadway when she was hit by a white Kia Sportage.

Morrisey was transported to Ben Taub Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased on July 31st.

No further details were released.

The crash is under investigation.
