Augustin Nelson Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Railroad Drive in El Paso

Augustin Nelson ID’d as Man Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident  on Railroad Drive
El Paso, Texas (December 2, 2018) – The man who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver early Saturday morning in Northeast El Paso has been identified as Augustin David Nelson, 36, according to a report by police.
The deadly accident took place at around 2:40 a.m. Saturday, December 1 in the 6600 block of Railroad Drive.
Police said Nelson was hit by a vehicle while he was walking on the northbound lanes of Railroad Drive.
The driver of the vehicle involved didn’t stop to render aid and fled the scene.
Nelson was killed in the accident.
The vehicle was described as a black Honda Accord between the model years of 1998 to 2002. Officials said the car has substantial damage to the front left bumper, damaged radiator, missing driver’s side mirror.
