Fort Worth, TX – The authorities have identified a driver who died after being ejected in a traffic collision involving two vehicles in Fort Worth on Saturday night as 40-year-old Arturo Infante.
Infante’s vehicle collided with another vehicle operated by 25-year-old Jose Ramirez Olmedo at about 9:22 p.m. on September 7 in the 2100 block of Jacksboro Highway.
Authorities say Olmedo left the scene on foot after the collision before police officers arrived at the scene.
Infante was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to the police, Olmedo was arrested at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, September 8. The suspect faces a felony charge of accident involving death. He was booked into Tarrant County jail and his bond is set at $20,000.

Fort Worth, TX – A 25-year-old man has been arrested following a traffic collision that resulted in another driver being ejected from their vehicle and killed in Fort Worth Saturday night, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
The accident happened at about 9:22 p.m. on September 7 in the 2100 block of Jacksboro Highway.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Jose Ramirez Olmedo’s vehicle collided with another vehicle, causing the driver of the second vehicle to be thrown out of the vehicle.
The ejected driver was taken to a nearby hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries.

According to Fort Worth police, Jose Olmedo fled the scene of the accident before the responding officers arrived.
Ramirezolmedo has since been arrested and charged with accident involving death.
