Andrew Gillenwater Jr. ID’d as Jaywalker Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Lee Road at Eastex Freeway
Harris County, Texas (November 13, 2018) – The jaywalker who was fatally struck by a vehicle Sunday night in northwest Harris County has been identified as Andrew Logan Gillenwater Jr., according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at about 8:30 p.m. November 11, in the 13100 block of Lee Road, along the Eastex Freeway.
Authorities said Gillenwater was crossing the street when a commercial truck driver struck him.
Gillenwater died at the scene.
The truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The crash remains under investigation.
