Amy Bootie and Juvenile Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 190 at South Main Street in Jasper

Jasper, Texas (February 8, 2018) – Two people were hospitalized after a crash involving two vehicles in Jasper Tuesday afternoon, police said
According to the police, Abel Vargas was operating a 2006 Chevrolet HHR westbound on Highway 190. At the same time, Amy Bootie was operating a 2011 Nissan Rogue southbound on Main Street then attempted to make turn eastbound on Highway 190 and the front of the Chevrolet collided with driver’s side of the Nissan.
The occupants of the Chevrolet, Amy Bootie, and her juvenile passenger were transported to the hospital for treatment. The severity of their injuries was not indicated in the report.
The accident remained under investigation.
