The wrong way driver then struck a fourth vehicle head-on. The fourth vehicle then slammed into a semi-truck, which caused the semi to jackknife and crashed into the center line. The wrong way driver’s car went on fire as a result of the crash.
The wrong way driver, identified as Guillermo Suarez, was cited for driving while intoxicated and intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.
The driver of the fourth vehicle died at the scene. The name of the deceased has not been released pending identification and notification of the family.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
