Alexis Raygoza Killed, 2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 59 in Laredo
Laredo, Texas (May 25, 2018) – The Cigarroa High School student who was killed in a fatal two-vehicle collision near Laredo on Thursday evening has been identified as Alexis Isabel Raygoza, 18, according to the DPS.
The deadly wreck occurred at around 7 p.m. May 24, on Highway 59.
Raygoza was among three students who were reportedly involved in the accident.
DPS said Raygoza died at the scene of the crash. The other two students were airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio, and one of them was said to be in critical condition.
DPS is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the wreck.
