Alan Watford Killed in Motorcycle Crash with Truck on Bankhead Highway and Front Street in Midland
Midland, Texas (July 15, 2018) – One person was killed in a crash between a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Saturday morning in Midland, according to the Midland Police Department.
The fatal crash occurred at around 11:30 a.m. July 14 at the Bankhead Highway and Front Street intersection.
Police said Alan Dale Watford, 61, was riding a black Harley Davidson motorcycle east on Front Street when a Ford F-150 Rapter failed to yield and struck the rider while making a left turn onto Bankhead Highway from Front Street.
Watford was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 74-year-old man driving the Ford remained at the scene of the crash.
The Midland Police Department is investigating the accident.
