Alan Ferreyro Killed in Odessa Pedestrian Crash on I-20

Odessa, Texas (July 17, 2018) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday night near Odessa, according to the authorities.
The fatal crash occurred at around 9:50 p.m. Friday, July 13, on Interstate Highway 20 approximately 5 miles west of Odessa.
According to the DPS, Alan Ferreyro, 23, was walking east on I-20 when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle driven by David Lara, 62.
DPS said Ferreyro was wearing dark clothing at the time of the accident. He died as a result of the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
