Alan Barlow Killed in Multi-Car Accident on Loop 335 in Randall County

Randall County, Texas (May 10, 2018) – A man was killed in a multi-car accident south of Amarillo Tuesday evening.
The fatal crash took place at about 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, May 8 on Loop 335 near Grand Street.
Alan Barlow, a resident of Canyon, was driving his vehicle eastbound on Loop 335 while Nathan Ring from Amarillo was operating a 2002 GMC 2500 behind Barlow.
Barlow lost control of his vehicle and drove into the oncoming lane, where his vehicle was hit by a tractor-trailer driven by Christopher Jones, a resident from Benson, Arizona.
Moments after the initial crash, Barlow’s vehicle spun around and crashed into the Ring’s vehicle.
Barlow was declared dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the cause of the crash.
We extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes.  No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies.  While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
