Several Hospitalized after NW Austin Crash at North FM 620 and Comanche Trail

Austin, Texas (May 16, 2018) – Four Firefighters were among several people injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon in northwest Austin, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS crews.
The crews responded at around 3 p.m. to a vehicle crash at the intersection of North Fm 620 and Comanche Trail.
Authorities said five cars and a fire truck from the Lake Travis Fire and Rescue were involved in the wreck.
EMS said 2 of the twelve patients sustained serious life-threatening injuries. All patients were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
The intersection was closed as investigators cleared the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
