Two Injured in Tyler Pedestrian Accident near Beckham Avenue and E. Front Street

Tyler, Texas (May 7, 2018) – Two pedestrians were injured when they were struck by a vehicle on Monday morning in Tyler, according to Tyler Police Department.
The accident was reported shortly after midnight in the area of 200 South Beckham Avenue and E. Front Street.
Police said a call had been made earlier regarding two pedestrians who were standing in the road. As the police were responding to the scene, another call came from the site that the two had been hit by a vehicle.
Police arrived at the scene to find the two pedestrians with injuries.
The two were taken to UT Health East Texas with non-life-threatening injuries.
Tyler police said the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene. The driver was not cited.
