Two People Injured in Decatur Crash on Business U.S. 380

Decatur, Texas (May 10, 2018) – Two people were injured in a head-on collision Wednesday evening in Decatur, according to police.
The crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 on Business U.S. 380.
According to the police, a Toyota Sequoia was heading westbound on Business U.S. 380 when it crossed into the eastbound lane of traffic and collided head-on with a Chevrolet truck.
Police said eye-witnesses stated the Toyota’s driver was speeding and swerving moments before the collision.
The driver of the Toyota was airlifted to by PHI to Medical City Denton while the driver of the Chevrolet was taken to a local hospital.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
