Nolan County, Texas (May 18, 2018) – A Nolan County Sheriff’s Deputy and one other person were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Nolan County Monday morning, according to the Nolan County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash happened just before 9:00 a.m. Monday, May 14 on Highway 84 and County Road 104.
The deputy was heading eastbound on Highway 84 when a pickup truck that was traveling southbound on County Road 104 entered an intersection directly in his path. He executed an evasive action but was not able to avoid crashing into the pickup.

The driver of the pickup was also transported to the Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.

The information for this blog post was obtained from public media and is for informational purposes. No attorney-client relationship is established unless the law firm is formally retained. We understand this is a difficult time for the family of those affected by a tragic accident, and we offer our sincere sympathies. While the thought of hiring a law firm may not feel appropriate at this time, as a public service we like to advise that in some cases it may be important to immediately begin securing evidence (such as photos of skid marks and property damage) and witness statements before it’s too late.
